Because GHOUL things come to those who wait, I’m thrilled (and chilled!) to announce the release of brand new “Eerie Alley” Halloween fabrics thanks to a very vocal Instagram campaign from the fans! Followers of my previous “Eerie Alley” collection will be excited to see the popular hip hearses (which you might have also seen on white or in pink) back by demand, but with a twist: Now these cute and creepy cars are available on a small scale (still with the signature coffin flying out of the back!) as well as a larger toss with monster motorists at the wheel. Brand new for this spooky sequel set are fresh prints of kooky coffins, haunted houses, and black scaredy cats!
Whether you’re familiar with this line of fabrics or just meeting them for the first time, the hot Halloween hues will be tons of fun to mix and match. Bright bursts of hot pinks, purples, and greens pop against the classic black, orange, and gray holiday tones. Even washing these fabrics is all treats and no tricks since they are made of 100% machine washable cotton.
Now that these newest “Eerie Alley” prints have debuted, that means you can finally request your local fabric shop order them wholesale from Robert Kaufman. The only scary part is waiting until June 2019 for yardage to arrive in stores and online. So that gives you months to prepare your most petrifying projects!
To start those creepy and creative juices flowing, the spooky sewists over at Robert Kaufman scared up three quilt patterns. First, the aptly named “Spooky Night” pattern designed by Ariga Mahmoudlou will be FREE to download in May 2019! Mountainpeek Creations has also designed the “Arcadia” and “Portals” patterns that are available for purchase. The only question is which would you pitch to give a witch her stitch fix?
So if you feel a shiver in the warm summer weather next year, know that it’s the “Eerie Alley” fabrics back from the dead! They can be snagged in a store near you or online, just lock them up tight on a full moon night…
